Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

Important notice

This website is an independent guide that links to tours sold on Viator and GetYourGuide, and it earns a commission on bookings made through those links. We do not operate any tour. Every tour is run by an independent local operator, and the operator’s name appears on each listing.

By booking through a link on this site you agree to the terms of the platform you book with and to the tour operator’s policies.

Bookings and payment

  • Bookings are processed and fulfilled by the platform you choose (Viator or GetYourGuide) and by the tour operator.
  • Payment terms, vouchers and confirmations are issued by that platform.
  • Viator: Terms of Use. GetYourGuide: General Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation terms differ from tour to tour, and each listing shows its own. Most La Paz whale shark tours offer a full refund up to 24 hours before departure. Some tours are non-refundable once booked. To cancel or change a booking, contact the platform you booked with, using the details in your confirmation email.

Prices shown on this site

Prices, ratings and review counts on this site are copied from the listings on the date given next to them. Operators change prices by season, and dock or protected-area fees are sometimes excluded. The price you pay is the one shown on the booking platform at checkout.

Tour operator responsibility

The tour operator, not this website, is responsible for running the tour safely and as described, for guides and equipment, for weather and safety decisions, and for handling problems during the tour. Operators may cancel or change a tour for weather, sea conditions or a suspension of the whale shark swim by the authorities; refunds or new dates are handled under the operator’s and the platform’s policy.

Liability

This website is a referral and information service. We are not liable for the quality, safety or description of any tour, for injury, loss or damage during a tour, for changes or cancellations made by an operator, or for disputes between you and an operator. Open-water snorkeling carries real risk; follow the guide’s safety instructions.

Intellectual property

Tour titles, descriptions and images belong to the booking platforms and the tour operators. All trademarks belong to their owners.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
